DMCA and Copyright Policy

1. NovaQuebec commitment

NovaQuebec respects copyright and intellectual property. We operate via Premium OTT servers and adhere to the Canadian Copyright Act as well as the American Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) for cooperation with international rights holders. If you are a rights holder and find that protected content is being streamed without authorization, you may notify us under the procedure below.

2. Notification procedure

Any DMCA takedown notice addressed to NovaQuebec must include the following elements to be admissible:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
2. Precise identification of the protected work (title, rights holder, registration number).
3. Precise identification of the allegedly infringing content on NovaQuebec (URL, channel, program, timestamp).
4. Your full contact details: name, postal address, phone, email.
5. A statement under penalty of perjury attesting good faith of your action and your status as rights holder (or authorized agent).

4. Processing time

NovaQuebec commits to reviewing any admissible notification and taking appropriate measures within 48 to 72 business hours. The targeted content may be removed, restricted or disabled as a precautionary measure during file review.

5. Counter-notification

If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may send us a written counter-notification containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the removed content and its prior location
• A statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from error
• Your full contact details and consent to jurisdiction of competent courts

6. Repeat offenders

NovaQuebec applies a zero-tolerance policy toward repeat offenders. Any subscriber or reseller account involved in several confirmed violations will be permanently suspended without refund.

7. Limitation of liability

NovaQuebec is not responsible for content provided by third-party OTT streams. Any fraudulent or abusive notification exposes its author to legal action under Canadian legislation.
